Changing Line Spacing
As you will lose the word-wrap functionality of Word if
you press Enter at the end of every line you have to apply special formatting if
you want to change the line spacing of your document.
Line spacing is a feature of paragraph formatting so to apply it you
should select all the paragraphs you want to change, click on the Format
drop-down menu and choose Paragraph.
If you want to quickly select the whole of your document you can either
hold down CTRL and A together or click on the Edit
drop-down menu and choose Select All.
The Paragraph formatting window contains settings for
changing spacing and indentation.

You can use the Line spacing box to change the
spacing of the lines in the text you have selected, we have changed our text to Double
line spacing but it is also possible to set values such as 1.5 for 1 ½
lines between each line of the paragraph. When you click OK your text will be reformatted with
the new spacing. To change text
back, highlight the text and choose Single in the Line spacing
box.
