SETTING PAPER SOURCE IN WORD

If you have a printer with different trays for containing different types of paper (e.g. letterhead) then you may want to set the source of the paper for your document.

The Paper Source area of the Page Setup window lets you choose a different tray for the first page and other pages in your document.  If you have your letterhead paper in Tray 2 and your plain paper in Tray 1 you should set the First Page option as Tray1 and the Other pages option as Tray2 if you are printing letters.

For normal documents printed on plain paper it is normal to leave the settings as Default tray.

To see how to enter details in the window above, click on the appropriate tab at the top of this image.  eg if you want to see how to set the paper size, click on the Paper Size tab above.
