CREATING PAGE BORDERS IN WORD

To create a border around the whole of your page, click on the Format drop-down menu and choose Borders and Shading.  A window appears as below:

Click on the Page Borders tab to display the Page Borders window as below:

You can now choose the style of border you would like around your page and on which sides the border should be drawn.  If you click on the Options button you can choose how far from your text the border will be drawn and whether the header and footer are surrounded by the border.

You can also enter the Page Border window by clicking on File -> Page Setup and then clicking on the Layout section of the Page Setup window.  In the Layout section there is a button marked Borders, if you click this button it should take you to the Page Border section of the Borders and Shading window.

Use the Back button on your browser to return to the previous page.
