WORDOpening an Existing DocumentWhen you have created and saved a
new document you can open it later by clicking on the File drop-down menu
and choosing Open or by clicking on the Open
icon
You can use the box at the top to find a different disk or folder to open the file from and you can use the Files of type box to open documents not created in Word, e.g. text files. If you want to open a file you have used recently, you can click on the History shortcut on the left of the window to see all the files you have opened or saved in the recent past. webmaster@allaboutoffice.co.uk
