Using Autotext to Insert Commonly Used Phrases
If you have certain phrases
that you type regularly you can set them up in Word’s Autotext list so that as
soon as you start typing the phrase Word offers to complete it.
To see the list of Autotext entries, click on the Insert drop-down
menu and choose Autotext to display the window as below.

Type the text you want to add as
an AutoText entry in the box at the top and click the Add button to add
it to the list. To ensure that you
are prompted for the entry when you start typing it, check that there is a tick
in the AutoComplete tip box at the top of the window. Click OK when you
have finished.
As soon as you start typing your Autotext entry Word will
display a yellow box containing the suggested phrase.
As soon as you see the yellow AutoComplete tip box, hit
your Enter key and Word will finish the phrase for you.
