Templates
In PowerPoint you can create your own Design Templates which will add to the list of pre-installed PowerPoint Design Templates. A Design Template is basically just a normal PowerPoint presentation where you have set up the Title Master and Slide Master to format your presentation in a certain way. To save a presentation as a Design Template, click on the File drop-down menu and choose Save As. In the Save As Type box at the bottom of the window choose Design Template and enter a suitable name for your template in the File name box.
When you have done this you
can open another presentation and click on the Format drop-down menu and
then Design Template to apply a Design Template.
The presentation you saved as a Design Template will now be available. You can also apply a Design Template by clicking on the Common
Tasks button on the Formatting Toolbar and choosing Apply Design Template
from the list that appears.
