Starting PowerPoint

You may have a PowerPoint icon on your Windows desktop, if you double-click this PowerPoint should start.  If you cannot see a PowerPoint icon you should click on the Start button and then choose Programs. You may now see a Microsoft PowerPoint entry on the list at this point which you can click to start PowerPoint, if you cannot see this option then you should look for the Microsoft Office option and you will find PowerPoint under that.

When PowerPoint starts you are given the option to use a wizard to create your presentation, to base it on an existing template, to start a new blank presentation or to open an existing presentation.
