Notes and HandoutsNotes pages contain a small slide image at the top of the page and speaker’s notes at the bottom of the page. You can enter your notes by typing them in the box provided at the bottom of the Normal View window. Before you print your notes it is a good idea to format them using the Notes Master. To edit the Notes Master, click on the View drop-down menu and choose Master and then Notes Master.
If you want to change the fonts used on the speaker’s notes you can highlight the text within the Notes Body Area placeholder and then apply a font face and size from the Formatting Toolbar. If you want to add a header and footer to your speaker’s notes you should click on the View drop-down menu and choose Header and Footer.
Enter the information you require in the appropriate boxes and click the Apply to All button to set the header and footer for all your notes. When you have finished editing your notes master, click the Close button on the Master Toolbar and you will be returned to your presentation. Handouts are set up in a similar way to speaker’s notes
using the Handout Master. To edit
the Handout Master, click on the View drop-down menu and choose Master
and then Handout Master. When
you have the Handout Master displayed, click on the View drop-down menu
and choose Toolbars and then Handout Master
to display the Handout Master Toolbar, this allows you to set
the number of slides per page and how they will be arranged.
You can add your company logo to your handouts if you wish. Even if you lay the image on top of the slides it will print out behind them. To make your logo have a watermark effect, click your right mouse button on the logo and choose Format Picture. Set the colour to Watermark under the Picture section of the Format Picture window.
